Mrs. Macedonia Moreno Montez, 66, passed away on March 11, 2012 in Corpus Christi, Tx. She was born in Beeville, Tx. on July 5, 1945 to the late Pedro and Amelia Chapa Moreno. She was retired from Beeville I.S.D. as a cook.
Survivors include her husband, Eduardo M. Montez of Beeville; four daughters, Olga (Henry) Garrett, Velma A. (Robert) Benavidez, Rebecca (Gerard) Lee all of Beeville and Lydia Bejarano of Yuma, AZ.; one son, Eduardo (Velma) Montez of Beeville; four brothers, Alfredo (Soveida) Chapa, Manuel (Maria) Moreno, Ruben Moreno and Gilbert (Sondra) Moreno all of Beeville; 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 14, from 10 am - 9 pm. at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 15, at 2 pm. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Beeville Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers are Jose Eduardo Ramos, Roxanne Zeilmann, Robert Benavidez Jr., Christina Benavidez, Leticia Trevino, Marcos Moreno and Steven Rodriguez. Honorary pallbearers are, B.J. Arredondo.
