Jerry Martinez Obituary

BEEVILLE – Jerry L. Martinez, 65, of Beeville, formerly of Pueblo, CO., died on Dec. 2, 2018. He was born on Dec. 4, 1952 in Pueblo, Co to Roberto and Ruth (Chavez) Martinez. He married Tina Aleman Salinas on July 26, 1986 in So. Lake Tahoe, Calif. He had served in the U.S. Navy and worked as a mechanical engineer.

He is preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.

He is survived by his wife, Tina Martinez of Beeville, Tx; two daughters, Yvonne M, Figueroa and Alisha M. Barbe’ both of Vallejo, CA; one son, Jerry Martinez, Jr. of Sacramento, CA; two step-sons, Ozzie (Cindy) Salinas and Charles (Leticia) Salinas both of San Antonio, Tx; two sisters, Mary Coyne of Sacramento, CA and Dorothy Crowe of Virginia Beach, VA. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Thursday, Dec. 6, at Our Lady of Victory Church. A rosary will be recited at 7pm with Fr. Lukose Thirunelliparambil officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in Pueblo, Colorado.
