Guadalupe Alcorta Obituary

BEEVILLE – Guadalupe Trejo Alcorta, 99, of Beeville, died on June 2, 2018. He was born on Oct. 6, 1918 to the late Juan and Francisca (Trejo) Alcorta. He married Trinidad Munoz on Sept. 24, 1961 in the Clareville Community. He was retired for many years from the oilfield industry.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Trinidad Munoz Alcorta and his son, Oscar Alcorta.

Survivors include one son, Joseph (Victoria) Alcorta of Skidmore, Tx; three daughters, Maxine Alcorta of Beeville, Tx, Lupita (Felipe) Arredondo of Port Arthur, Tx and Ester Starr of Rockport, Tx. He is also survived by six grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3-9pm on Wednesday, June 6, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7pm. The body of Mr. Alcorta will lie in state at 11am on Thursday, June 7, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 12 noon with Fr. Richard Gonzales officiating. Interment will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore, Tx.

Serving as pallbearers are Ray Munoz, Jr., Onesimo Moreno, Daniel Alcorta, Juan Alcorta, Joe Alcorta and Jesse Alcorta
