Mrs. Delia G. Rodriguez, 92, passed away on March 11, 2012. She was born in Beeville on Nov. 9, 1919 to the late Luciano Gutierrez and Luisa Longoria Gutierrez. She married Antonio Rodriguez in Beeville, Tx. in 1938.
Survivors include her sons, Robert A. (Gloria) Aguilar, Rudolfo Rene (Janie) Rodriguez, Juan Roel Rodriguez, Ramon Eloy (Rachel) Rodriguez and Joe Richard (Elizabeth) Rodriguez all of Beeville; her daughters, Mary Rodriguez Guerrero and Mickey Delia (Roberto) Faz both of Beeville; adopted daughter, Noemi Toscano 22 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and 1 great great great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her busband; three brothers, Luciano Gutierrez, Jr., Elizardo Gutierrez and Adelmiro Gonzales; one sister, Ofelia G. Armijo; and one grandson, David Rodriguez.
Visitation we be held on Tuesday, March 13, from 2-9 pm. at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7 pm. A rosary will also be recited at 7 pm on Wed., March 14, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 15 at 10 am. at Our Lady of Victory Church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2.
Serving as pallbearers are Imelda Garza, Yolanda Fiorello, Jasmin Cortez, Douglas Aguilar, Billy Rodriguez, Joey Rodriguez, Tony Rodriguez and Eric Guerrero. Honorary pallbearers are Wallace Guerrero, Jasen (spelled correct) Guerrero, JR Rodriguez, Cynthia Gomez, Estella Campos,Robert Aguilar, Ramon Rodriguez, Mickey Banda, Velma Rodriguez all her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
