Carroll Berton Johnson, 77, died on March 27, 2012 in Corpus Christi, Tx. He was born on June 24, 1934 in Berryville, Arkansas to the late Elbert Elias Johnson and Oma Jane Staten Johnson. Mr. Johnson married Dorothy Hurst in 1956 in Porterville Calif. He served 22 years in the United States Navy as an AB Master Chief and was a retired Bee County Constable where he had served for 10 years. Carroll was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend who loved the Lord and his family. He was very involved with the Lion's Club, Republican Party and longtime supporter of the South Texas Children's Home.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Hurst Johnson; one son, Randall Berton (Tonda) Johnson off Bishop, Tx; one daughter, Sandra Jane (Billy) Johnson Greene of Lexington Park, Maryland; two brothers, Harold (Jo) Johnson and Gerald (Barbara) Johnson both of Arkansas; four grandchildren, Chelsie Johnson, Tiffany Greene, Nichole Moneymaker and Kristin Greene; three great grandchildren, Logan Zernhelt, Landon Zernhelt and Mackenzie Moneymaker.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 am. on Saturday, March 31, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Greg Traylor officiating.
