Alicia Garcia, 78, of Beeville, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at her home. She was born May 15, 1933 in Robstown. She was a homemaker and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband Ramon Garcia of Beeville; daughters Esmeralda Garcia of Beeville, Deserey Moya of Beeville and Maria Perez and husband Alfred of Goliad; son Adan Garcia of Kingsville; sister Aurora Espinoza and husband Florencio of Robstown. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 28 from 5p.m. until 9p.m. with the Rosary being recited at 7 p.m. at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pettus with Fr. Joseph Vakayil Varghese officiating. Interment will follow at the Pettus Cemetery. Pallbearers include Joseph Munoz, Joshua Munoz, Robert Benavides, David Moreno, Cesar Falcon and Matthews Llamas. Honorary pallbearers include Alfred Perez, Raul Franco, Raul Garcia, Frank Garcia, Adan Garcia and the nurses of Hospice of South Texas.
